She cleans up her mess and erases Nick’s memory, but when he shows up a few days later asking questions about a murder victim, it’s clear he has some memory of her. The romance was sexy. With the bond mating and discovery it was also hot as hell. It played a secondary role to the intense case, battle, and overall series arc. However, the author still made me feel connected and their relationship felt genuine.
I loved the sibling interaction and the brothers interaction with Nick. The battles scenes and encounter with some scary vampires was brilliant. I am looking forward to meeting the next brother. Jack laid the groundwork and I look forward to the audiobook. This review was originally posted at Caffeinated Reviewer
