Nice cover on this one. OK representation of the hero. Nice use of graphics. Good composition and title work.
I enjoyed this one a lot. I had it figured out right from the beginning, but that didn't take away from my enjoyment in the least. There were a few times that I thought maybe we were headed in a different (more complex) direction, but that didn't pan out, and I was a bit disappointed because that twist would have made this book AWESOME.
The writing was very good. The pace was excellent. There are some twists and turns. It wasn't particularly dark or angsty or drama filled. A couple of sex scenes but I wouldn't say this book was heavy in the romance department. There are very few characters, but the ones we get were likable and intriguing (if a tiny bit underdeveloped). There is a prologue available that I would suggest you read before starting this book it will provide you with a bit more background details. That said, I did feel the book fell a bit short in that regard. Especially with Robin's character. The story would have been even better if we had gotten a few chapters devoted to these characters and what they were doing and feeling from the time they last saw each other until they meet again.
Those issues aside I still found myself sucked into the story from beginning to end. So this one gets two thumbs up from yours truly.
