This study asks how the cultural perceptions of three trade credit control components (information, risk assessment and regulation of customer relations) differ between the UK and mainland China. It aims to provide a more informed basis for assessing the extent to which trade credit policies, procedures and systems can be transferred between the UK and mainland China.
