I remember loving the first book in this series, Light Years. Supernova was a highly anticipated book for me, I was pretty excited to read this book and to see how the story ended. But I just couldn't carry on reading. 

I've only read 13% but from that 13% I immediately felt like it was too simple. There was no resistance from the characters about anything that was going on, they accepted everything at face value without question. They had no emotions. I stopped reading in the middle of a dramatic scene because there was no tension or suspense, it was so shallow that I knew they would be alright.

There was zero passion in the story being told, so I had zero passion in wanting to read this book.
