He wouldn't win. But that had never stopped him

There are a few more nasty and vile things in this one and although the reader in me hated Ariana Nash for not giving me (or the characters) a break, I thought it was quite masterfully done.

You can expect blood and gore 70% of the time and characters foolishly rushing into the arms of blood and gore the other 30%

Oh, and the character development was nothing to sneeze at either.

CONTENT WARNINGS: allusions to rape, attempted rape, rape, suicidal ideation, physical, emotional and mental abuse, allusions to incest, blood and gore, gratuitous violence
