Soundstart is a phonics-based reading programme, providing seven levels of progression from pre-reading to age 7. The Orange Core and Booster Packs consist of seven mixed titles - 1 Core Reader and six Booster Readers which introduce simple phonetic forms (mainly cvc) and consolidate the initial sight vocabulary. Core and Booster titles are available in guided reading sets (single title x 5).
