Soundstart is a phonics-based reading programme, providing seven levels of progression from pre-reading to age 7. The Yellow Core and Booster Packs consist of seven mixed titles - 1 Core Reader and six Booster Readers which reinforce short vowel forms (mainly cvc) and extend the initial sight vocabulary. Core and Booster titles are available in guided reading sets (single title x 5).
