While I did enjoy this conclusion, Twisted Together felt like two books in one. One which I really enjoyed, and one I felt was a bit unnecessary. Tess and Q are getting ready for their wedding, except that Tess still isn't herself. Obviously. She's been through a lot, and Q refuses to marry her like this. He does everything in his power to bring his Tess back, even if it means making her relive those memories of captivity.

Twisted Together was super weird. It definitely screws with your mind. Q seriously goes to drastic measures in the name of healing Tess. His methods are by no means conventional, and the entire time I was yelling at him to take her to a doctor! She needs real help! This one does end up in the saved by the power of love category. In a way, since it's not directly love that saves her. Q's love prompts him to do some crazy stuff to fix her, and surprising (or unsurprisingly) it works. I liked this part of the finale a lot, since it is twisted.

But then Twisted Together changes. There's another kidnapping plot! It's different though, if not totally engaging. I felt like it was a bit much, and kind of like it was just shoved into the middle for the sake of more drama and more pages. It's not bad exactly, but I didn't fully care. It made the book feel like it dragged for several chapters, because I just wanted to get on with the happily ever after!

Twisted Together was a satisfying conclusion to this series. I love a happy ending even if the rest of the story was completely dark. Tess and Q certainly deserve some peace and happiness after all that they've been through! The epilogue was also quite touching, but I won't spoil why.
