Here is a spoiler if you want to...Read more
This book has such a unique premise and I loved it a lot. However, my reason for giving it three stars is that there were some inconsistencies that really bothered me.
Here is a spoiler if you want to know one of the instances I am talking about:
(Note I do not say most names since they might differ in my Dutch version of the book)
(show spoiler)[I just don't understand how she was so sure of the brainstorm being the one who cursed Romeo, but once the cat told her there was someone who could do magic, she was like: "No the brainstorm cannot perform magic!" ... How does that make sense?]
I have not checked the original language for that specific inconsistency nor for the other inconsistencies that I found.
I will definitely be picking up the second book in this series, the world and premise are lovely.
