With that said, this was a whirlwind romance. Ryker and Aurora had this instant connection, which deepened over a short period of time. I didn't mind the instalove, and I liked the idea of giving Ryker the benefit of the doubt when it came to his intentions towards Aurora, but do teen boys really get that wrapped up in the "innocence" thing? *eye roll*
I did really like Aurora as a character, and I loved the way Ryker and his family interacted. However, I felt the ending was abrupt, and it seemed like things were just getting started. I was glad certain elements of the story were addressed and resolved in the end, but the romance between Ryker and Aurora seemed unfinished.
Not my favorite book of the series, but I was entertained, and I hope these two will get some attention should there be future Field Party books.
