Move over, Alex Cross and Stephanie Plum, Jack Logan is here and he’s absolutely amazing! L.C. Shaw has absolutely caught me, hook-line-sink with this one! From start to finish, I was wrapped up, wound up tight, and taken on a thrilling roller coaster ride of politics, death, who’s, what’s and why’s. That was a fabulous time! And, let me tell you. If you are like me and read this in one sitting, you’ll be kicking yourself for doing so because NOW I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE!

I love the way Shaw created Jack Logan. His character was absolutely awesome. I felt myself drifting into his shoes, becoming him, with each new page turn. The way he raced against time to piece the clues together, the way he uncovered the truth to the death of a Senator, was fantabulously done, and I loved every second of Logan’s action packed story. Let’s not forget Taylor, Logan’s former love. The emotions there, well let’s just say that it wasn’t hard to feel them as your own! Taylor’s character was also created beautifully and perfect for her role of helping Logan piece the puzzle together on what really happened to her husband.

I gotta say this. If you love Liv Constantine writing duet, then you will love L.C. Shaw. She’s one half of the Constantine duet and is magnificently stunning on her own! This book is filled with so much, from the twists and turns of corruption, to the ups and downs of politics, to a network of unforgettable thrills. If you are looking for a novel that will have you gripping the book with white knuckles, sitting on the edge of your seat, and wanting that glass of Jack Daniels because you just don’t know what’s going to happen, then this is a novel you don’t want to miss!
