Some things don't change:Dr. Lila Marsden is on duty when Tom Bennet is brought into casualty. She recognises him at once - as a national rodeo champion and the man she used to love. He's still living the dangerous life of the rodeo cowboy.
Some things do: Tom's a single father now, and his children need a place to stay while he recuperates. Against her better judgement - her recently widowed father won't appreciate the intrusion - Lila takes them in. The kids are thrilled to be in a 'real' home. And they seem to be helping Lila's dad get over his sadness.
