So this book focuses on the story from the first two books, but from Remy's perspective.

There's very little new in the books, even with Remy's perspective added. It's a lot of just him being jealous, possessive, and in love with her. I'd say about 10% of the book was worth reading and toward the end I was basically speedreading it just so I could finish it. If the next book doesn't improve, I'm just going to give this a pass. So far I've only really liked one book and that was just because I like Remy's character.

REMY is a highly charged book filled with sexual tension, desire and yearning. If you love books about sexy underground fighters, this book is for you.

Remington is a hot underground fighter who is adored by everyone, especially women. Once Remington meets Brooke, she is all he wants, but he is afraid to share his secrets with her. Remington is afraid Brooke won’t want anything to do with him when she knows who he really is. Remington is handsome and one of the most successful fighters on the underground circuit, but he is vulnerable and feels unloved. I had some issues with the way Remington and his handlers deal with his problems.

The story begins on Remington and Brooke’s wedding day. Remington is excited and nervous about the big day. He loves and wants to marry Brooke, but he is tired of waiting, he wants Brooke to finally be his. Each chapter alternates between the present and the past. It starts on their wedding day and then goes back to the first day they meet. All of Remington’s thoughts seem to be centered on Brooke and at times, seem obsessive. Remington is a man of few words and has a hard time expressing himself. Remington expresses his feelings for Brooke, through the songs he plays for her. Through Remington’s inner dialogue, we learn his thoughts, feeling and reasons for his actions. In fact, most of the book has more inner dialogue than conversations.

Remington’s nemesis is another underground fighter named Scorpion. Scorpion continually does things to throw Remington off his game. Scorpion and his antics, add drama and suspense to the story.

REMY is the third book in the Real series. This is the first book I have read in the series and easily followed the story. Most of this story is from Remington’s POV. This book picks up where MINE left off. Katy Evans has a way of making a tough, gruff fighter sweet, vulnerable and endearing.
