Volume 2 continues Saitama’s search for someone who can actually challenge him. Saitama's encounters with villains this time include a ninja who aims to destroy his reputation.

So far, I have found the storyline very predictable. I also find the motivation behind Saitama’s actions to be very boring, but I suspect that’s because of his attitude towards everything. With what has been setup, hopefully this will change in the next volume.This is a solid second volume, which should hopefully be a good starting point for the rest of the series. I’m looking forward to the rest of the series and hope that Saitama’s motives will become more interesting as the series progresses. I’m looking forward to seeing how Saitama’s journey progresses and it will be interesting to see what challenges he faces. I’m also hoping that the series provides more depth to his character and his motivations.

With its good pacing and world-building, I’m confident that the story will be a wild ride.

One Punch Man is still going strong! Or should I say, the plot is getting stronger. I don’t think Saitama can get much stronger (and would he even notice if he did? It’s not like he’s been able to really push his abilities).
This is such a funny and inane series, but it’s well supported by an actual and interesting plot. That makes it unique and many ways, and absolutely worth the read!
The second volume digs a little deeper into the plot, with the fights being longer running events this time around. It gave us a great chance to get to know our characters (in my case, since I already watched the anime, I’m getting to know them all over again, but it still counts).
