Ask and you shall receive! Milo and Sara's story is here and it's something that I've been waiting for since the very beginning. After reading this, I realized that it's well overdue for a series re-read. Jamison Valley was the series that had me falling in love with Devney's book and I didn't realize how much I missed this place.

This novella was EVERYTHING that I needed and more! And I swear it's always the novellas that are constantly leaving me begging for more. But Devney did a phenomenal job covering all the bases and not skipping over a damn thing.

The Candle Palace felt like a filler book, and I didn't feel like it actually gave me all that much insight to Milo and Sara. It fell flat for me, and that's not something I'm used to with a Perry book, that's for sure.
I wish there would have been more of their life together in Montana, rather than just their beginning - because we kind of knew about that already. However, the struggles they had after moving in together, getting married, trying for a baby - none of that was really present.
