Kiss Me Cowboy by Liz Talley gives us Georgia’s story. Lord the woman was funny. Georgia grew up poor on the wrong side of the tracks and despite her friendship with Claire and Mary Catherine; she hightailed it out of this one horse town and never looked back. A chance encounter with a very sexy and sweet veterinarian stirs up longings in Georgia and I loved their slow dance. Georgia was fun, and I laughed at her antics.
Marry Me, Cowboy by Kim Law is another second chance romance and boy howdy did I love me our bad boy rancher. Mary Catherine tries to live up to the unbearable responsibilities her stepmother demands and she thinks her father wants. The poor woman folds and I found myself hoping she would snap out of it and find her happy. Little side stories and finding out our bad boy’s reputation is a little more complicated had me flipping the pages. I so wanted my HEA with this one, and only wish we had more time with them.
In Cowboys for Christmas, all of the tales overlap and occur during the same two weeks. Misunderstands, family obligations and fear stand in the way of these friends HEA’s and it was delightful to see it all unfold. I loved how all three stories interlocked making this feel like a complete novel.
