Adriana and Ashley are engaged to be married. Adriana cathes Ashley "bollocks deep" in her seamstress. That's where our regular run of the mill storyline takes a delightful detour. Adriana refuses to stand idly by and watch her fiance' share his body with someone else while placing her on a pedestal as wife material with unfulfilled needs.

Adriana was a woman after my heart. She was independent, headstrong, and temptestuous. When she confronted Ashley about his misdeeds I couldn't help smiling at the spunk she showed, particularly for a woman from that era. Ashley takes her up on her challenge and escorts Adriana to heights she's never known. I loved that Ashley was so willing and open to change his preconceived notions about the roles of women. Their chemistry was absolutely explosive and the steam level is off the charts hot.

This was a short, spicy read that you'll be glad you tried.
