I did guess the killer fairly early on, the author did make me question my decision until one of the killer viewpoint chapters make it quite obvious and somewhat spoiling the discovery.
A convoluted story of children injured by the actions of the previous generation, and also by the inaction of some of those who should have been actively involved in their care. There's also an abused wife and some hypnotism to try to unearth truth.
Interesting but a bit choppy in places.
