Tough Shit was all about Ocean and Colton’s never ending will-they-won’t-they relationship. It has a lot of angst and we were given a proper intro to each characters. All of which plays a major role in Ocean’s life. We get to see a glimpse of Ocean’s past, how she’s dealing with the present, and how she doesn’t care enough yet on her future. Things get much more exciting when she and her mom had to live with the Carrington’s. I’d say, without reading the blurb, you would’ve thought that one of her gangsta boy will be her end game. But no, it’ll be the billionaire Colton Carrington who will make her life a living hell first before he welcomes her and give her a slice of heaven.

I’d say, a job well done yet again for Sheridan. She really knows how she wants her heroine to be. I appreciate Ocean being a badass bitch but sometimes it gets too much that it no longer seem realistic, but it’s okay since this is fiction. Sheridan can do whatever and however she wants with her heroine
