Wow I loved this story, I really think Jezi needs to go though. She irked me to no end right up to the end of the book. I kept waiting for her to change, to get over whatever her issue is, but no she a pain in the ass all the way to the end. The first part of the novel grabbed me and i kept me reading right up to the end. The second half of the novel is where a majority of the action takes place and pulls out the action for a fast paced raced to the end. I like the light touch of romance that did over power the novel. A great introduction to me for an author that backed by another of my favorite authors Sonya Loveday. Excited to see what the rest of the Watchmen series has to hold for me.
I have read other books by Candace Knoebel and I have loved them Everlasting is no exception, it is another book that I loved. Paranormal Romance is a genre that gets me ticking. I loved Faye and Jaxen's characters, Faye was so feisty I loved that and Jaxen well what can I say, when it comes to book boyfriends he ranks right up there. The book is magical which you would expect with witches and hunters and a child with no powers, or so it has been declared but is that really true? It all comes to a head at the Culling ceremony. The story flows really well, it was well written and had me eager to carry on reading even though it was way past my bedtime. I cannot wait for the next installement.
