Olivia is in a bind. The world thinks she reunited with her childhood friend and he's now her fabulous fiancé. Trouble is, he doesn't exist.
Mason Parker always had a thing for Olivia. When the local police station where Olivia's father was chief burned to the ground, Mason and three of his friends were accused. The four boys went through hell while detained and one of them didn't make it out alive. Mason vowed revenge on Olivia's father for putting them there in the first place. So what can Mason do to enact the ultimate revenge? Announce to the world that he is Olivia's mysterious fiancé.
Weiss pulled me in with the intricate back story of Olivia and Mason. I was intrigued to know what caused the infamous fire and why Olivia couldn't remember anything about that night.
Mason was hard on the outside and soft on the inside through a big part of the story. He was extremely tough on Olivia for the part he believed she played in his incarceration. Even when he finds out about the blank spots in her memory, he doesn't really let up on her. But, Olivia was her own woman and was able to stand up for herself. I liked the idea of two dominant personalities crashing together in brilliant flashes of passion and lust. Once Mason showed his true colors during a "white knight" moment, I knew the two would be able to find a way to make a relationship work. Through several rough patches, the two spark and ignite their way to a happily ever after.
The Millionaire's Forever is a quick, romantic romp full of revenge, passion, and the ultimate gratification. Love.
