Gabe Sullivan is a firefighter in San Francisco who has been burned before when he entered into a relationship with a victim he saved from a fire. So when he rescues Megan Harris and her adorable seven year old daughter Summer its hands off. After losing her husband, Megan has vowed to keep their hearts safe by never dating a man with a dangerous job again. When their two worlds collide it’s almost impossible to ignore the attraction and the tale that unfolds is sweet, extremely hot and kept me turning the pages late into the night.
Gabe Sullivan is literally every woman’s wet dream. Seriously! He is drop dead gorgeous with eyes that show his emotion, incredible sweet an his body is rippled with muscle from his career as a firefighter. Gabe can cook, fold laundry and whisper sweet nothings while you scream his name. Did I mention he is a firefighter? Take a moment to fan yourself ladies. He is a romantic, likes kids and volunteers at the library!! Do I need to finish the review? Have you already bought the book? Megan has been raising her daughter Summer alone. The two have had their share of heartache from loss to the recent fire that destroyed their apartment. I really liked her and understood her fears and the walls she created around her heart. I loved how she wasn’t afraid to share her fantasies and watching her walls come crumbling down was delightful. Summer is adorable, smart and mischievous and she added to the tale and had her own sweet voice. We see more of Sophie Sullivan and get the set up for her story which is next in I Only Have Eyes for You. It promises to be exciting. Of course we see some of the other Sullivan members and hear updates on the previous couples.
Bella Andre knows how to bring her characters to life flaws and all making you fall completely in love with them. The Sullivan’s themselves are delightful and you instantly want to be a part of this dynamic family who obviously love and cherish each other. The banter and rivalry between siblings is delightful as is the love and admiration they feel for each other. Gabe and Megan’s romance was smokin’ hot and the physical attraction was strong but Andre allowed them to grow and fan the flames to keep the fire burning. While they had some issues to struggle through the angst level was low making this a delightful read from beginning to end. Andre pushes the heat level in this novel and the scenes were both tasteful and steamy. Can’t Help Falling In Love has become a personal favorite for me, ok honestly its Gabe! Gabe Sullivan is my new book boyfriend! I adore him! Shhh don’t tell my hubby.
