This is how you accidentally finish books.
Sometimes you just need to FORGET yourself in a book, and Lady Sophie's Christmas Wish let me do that. Despite having a silly reason why Sophie couldn't be with Vim (because he never said he loved her -- no other reason), man. Those two together were so, so sweet.
And I liked the way Kit brought Sophie and Vim together. A man who knows how to take care of a baby is practically irresistible, and Vim takes charge to show Sophie how it's done. Having read this series out of order and being able to see Sophie, Vim, and Kit post-HEA made my time spent with them that much better.
The brothers had a bigger presence in this book than in previous Duke's Daughters books, and I liked it. Sibling relationships can be so much FUN to read because of the history and good-natured ribbing that occurs.
I'll admit. Vim and Sophie both had certain hangups that made me want to shake them, but overall, any book that has me staying up past my bedtime is a good. I've enjoyed spending time with the Windham family, and Grace Burrowes is an author I'd like to read more of.
