Mitch Tonks runs the Rockfish restaurants in Dartmouth, Bristol and Plymouth and Torquay and The Seahorse in Dartmouth. All of his restaurants have won awards including the Good Food Guide’s Best Seafood restaurant and Seafish’s best independent fish & chip restaurant and Mitch himself won restaurateur of the year for Tatler magazine.He is a self-taught chef who has written five award-winning books. The first, Fish, was published by Pavilion in 2009. He is a consultant for various projects involving seafood including ambassador for Norwegian Seafood and consultant with First Great Western on their Pullman menus. He regularly contributes to the national press and TV cookery shows.
