Ashley
Eh it was only okay. It was WAY too dramatic, but also kind of lacking in emotion. I don't feel like it was the epic love story it promised.
There were too many obstacles. They'd be at a high point, and as soon as they got there the book would go, “but you won't BELIEVE what happened next!” Then they'd tumble. Rinse and repeat every 40 pages. It was like a series of click bait articles. I got sick of there always being a wrench thrown in.
And the love story…. I don't know… I never felt like he was that great. Heath loved Kat, but I'm not even sure why? Why was he so obsessed with her when she never really treated him well? What did he even see in her?
And their relationship was just constantly on-again, off-again. I got tired of it. I wasn't even rooting for them at the end.
