I tried. This book wasn’t as boring as the previous two. But it starts three chapters too late. The beginning makes no sense—who is Jabir and why is she working for him and why does he kerp her prisoner and why does she kill people. Worse than that, though, is the excessive description. Somewhere in the second chapter I realized the only way to get through it was to I skim. I almost dnf‘d at that point.
But the story finally started right about then and I was curious if it would finally pick up. But the relentless description continued and right about the time the goblins showed up I decided if I’m skimming the whole thing then it’s not worth reading.
