Quirky Cat
Summary:
In the world of My Hero Academia, approximately eighty percent of the population (and growing) have been born with quirks – unique superpowers. Midoriya is part of the twenty percent group – born without a quirk. He never let that destroy his dreams of becoming a hero, and look at him now!
It's the fight we've all been waiting for. Or one of them, at any rate. The heroes and the villains are about to battle it out, and the risk couldn't be higher. Worse, Shigaraki is awake and throwing around new powers.
Review:
Man, even re-reading this series makes my heart pound! My Hero Academia Vol. 29 brings us to one of the most intense points in the series (which is saying something). We have so many students and heroes working together, and we have no idea how well it's all going to pan out.
In truth, My Hero Academia Vol. 29 is a heady mixture of action, emotion, and badass moments. It has some of the best moments in this current arc while making readers panic about what's going to happen next.
Best of all, this arc is giving so many of our favorite students a moment to shine. I wish there was time for them all to get a moment (even/especially Class 1B), but alas, that would make the fight 50 volumes long.
Heads up! My Hero Academia Vol. 29 does end on a bit of a cliffhanger (remember, we're mid-battle here), so be sure to have volume 30 lined up and ready to go.
