The interior pages are acid-neutral, Smyth-sewn into the binding instead of only glued, and are printed in two colors: black and blue. It comes in two volumes—the first of which is signed.

The page ends are gilded, each volume has a satin-ribbon bookmark, and the full-color endpapers present art by Michael Whelan, Howard Lyon, and Isaac Stewart.
