After a reread spurred on by the movie - which also made me buy the book physically -, I'm tired of pretending this book isn't a standard for romance. There is so many things that I realize I still love in this book even if I remember a lot of it. In fact, I think that the book only got better in this second read-through, because I understood a few of the politics a bit better.

The banter is immaculate, the build-up, while I could definitely mention that it's a tad short, is quite nice, and that TikTok mentioning how the thing that is hard to read in public isn't smut but the fluff really hit the nail in the head.

I don't know if I'll pick up other books by the author, as I've heard they're not as good, but the fact I've had to update this rating to 5 stars really urges me to do exactly that. This is exactly what I want from Achillean Romance.

Also, the fact that Verity lost the Goodreads Choice Award for Romance because of this book? Iconic. Immediate legendary status.

This book was WOW and SO hot! While I thoroughly enjoyed it and am an LBGTQ+ ally, it is a LGBTQ+ rom-com so for those who may take - you have been warned. Disclaimer asides, you will laugh (SO HARD), cry, and stand up and cheer!

Cute if highly unlikely, but are we reading YA romance for reality? Nah. Definitely will watch the movie to see pretty boys fall in love.

аааааааааааааааааааааААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААААА!!! верещуу, почему это было так классно?! я вообще не ожидала. пусть больше похоже на фанфик, но JESUS CHRIST, ЭТО БЫЛО ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО. стооолько страсти, я просто в завидках. не знаю, это было потрясающе, так просто легко и так классно) я почти уверена что захочу прочитать заново когда нибудь.
p.s всё ещё считаю, что надо было перевести её у нас "Красный белый и дворцовый голубой". for real, это же прям в яблочко

Y'all. I absolutely DEVOURED this book. I stayed up 3 hours later than I normally do in order to finish it! It was laugh out loud (literally) hilarious and heartwarming at the same time. Anybody else want this book to be a mini-series?

Red, White, and Royal Blue follows the story of an unlikely match; truly star-crossed lovers. The First Son of the first female president of the United States (Alex) and the Prince of England (Henry) get to know each other through a planned publicity stunt. As time passes, their affection for one another strengthens. The two communicate primarily through email, call, text, and stolen cross-continental meetings as Alex is living in DC and Henry in England.

I don't want to give too much away about this twists and turns this book takes, but I can honestly say this story made my week! There are so many hard things in the world right now, and RWRB is a shining light in the darkness.

I loved this book! A great romance that felt natural, LGBT rep, and tons of politics that even someone not super into it like me still enjoyed! A fun, flirty read. Looking forward to more books by Casey!

The hype of this book is so worth it. I loved this book so much. The characters, the romance, the writing, the banter, these elements worked so well. This is definitely my favorite read of the year so far.

This was a solid contemporary romance where the bisexual son of the first woman President of the United States falls in love with a Prince of England, and difficulties ensue. There is a lot of politics sprinkled throughout the story, but it doesn't pull away from the charm. I would absolutely read a sequel to this.
