ConnecText is a concept that invites the student to make a connection between the basic, necessarily static information in a text and the dynamic information available on the Internet. Students can access such things as maps, tables, biographies, and practice quizzes on the home page. Faculty can access lecture outlines, activity suggestions, and discussion questions. Carefully selected sites on the World Wide Web allow students and faculty the opportunity to explore developments as they occur in the world and to examine issues from a worldwide perspective.
