It features volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, flash-floods and dust-storms and is intended to assist children to find out why, when and where natural disasters happen, and how people are affected by them. The text can be used to support study in physical and human gepgraphy, history, science, information technology and environmental studies and is designed for Key Stage 2 and 3 Science and Technology.
