A fun and quick read. Willa isn't your typical heroine and is a clumsy, accident-prone disaster. She's got spunk though and her inner monologue was hilarious. It did get to be too much for me after a while though and I found myself rolling my eyes a bit towards the end. The Abcurse brothers were yummy and had interesting powers and personalities. We didn't get the chance to learn too much about the world so I hope we do in the later books.

I can’t even express how much I loved this book, even the lack of sex (that I seriously needed because um...those brothers!) I could let slide since the banter, characters and world build was just that epic. I will have a full review but please don’t wait for me...I’m getting book #2 looks like this is a binge read!

I don't really know what to say about Trickery. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this one but I think I should have read it instead of listening. I just felt like I missed major plot stuff. I was forever doing a *whaaaaat...did I just miss?* and then scrambling back to try and work things out. Now, if I had read it, it probably wouldn't have flown straight over my head. And, for me, the whole book was like that.

Saying that, the narrator OWNS the main character. I'm not sure if it's the voice that suited the character or the character suited the narrator's voice. Either way, it was a PERFECT fit.

I got to the end of Trickery and I had to check my phone to see if it had actually finished. It just seemed to stop at a weird time. Maybe it was the authors attempt at a gripping cliffy, but for me, it just left me again with a *whaaaaat...did I just miss?*

Another thing, I'm not sure if I just read the prelude to a menage relationship, or, a possessive best friend staking ownership.

I'm tempted to go on but I have to admit to a little hesitancy whether to read or listen. I loved the narrator, but the story doesn't work well with the humorous parts distracting you from the plot. I know that there are Gods who have control and Under-Gods (studying to be Gods) who get to boss it over Dwellers. All I can say is, poor Dwellers, to be studying your whole life for the honour, then to be treated as a nothing. That would SUCK!!
