This is the amazing story of the last Romanov Princess who has been stripped of her title and been sent to be Lady Elizabeth with a teen boy king on the throne. She struggles with who she been raised to one day be to the status she been demoted to. She has only the hopes that she can some way find a way to relate to the young king. She struggles once she falls for him but knows she can never have him and at times try’s to find love in another arms.

I throughly enjoy the historical tale that sherry has continued to weave throughout these novels. She strives to stick to who these people where and taking liberties where we don’t really know what actually transpired at times.

If anything it engages a hunger in me to know more about these people and who history says they were. I will continue to read this series as it unfolds.Ff
