Oh, damn. Conned is super hot! And it has the amazing combination of sex and science! Tucker Lamb is a science professor, while Cricket Malloy teaches Human Sexuality. One day, the noise from her class disrupts Tuck's lecture and gives him a bright idea: joint projects about the connection between science and sex. It'll be a learning experience for the students, and it'll allow him to get to know Cricket better. The two professors decide to work on their own project involving aphrodisiacs. Tuck unexpectedly inserts his own clip into the aural tests, so Cricket adds something to the visual. Needless to say, these two are horny as hell and want each other...bad!
Conned is sexy, funny, and educational! Well, at least there are some interesting sex discussions which start off academic and then move over into personal territory, but same thing! Tuck and Cricket have some amazing chemistry! It's just oozing off of the pages. The restaurant scene? Oh, yes! There may only be two sex scenes (and one self-satisfaction), but this whole novella is sex, sex, sex! With a dash of science, and I loved it! There is a kind of plot introduced at the end, involving Witness Protection and the mob, but I was so not interested. It actually felt a bit forced, and really didn't create much of a problem for the characters. If that had been left out, Conned would have been a full 5 stars.
