This was a cute, sweet story about shy, emotionally withdrawn Amelia and popular, king of the ice Derek. There's plenty of friction and sexual tension within this book. I enjoyed the story, even if I did feel like it fell a bit flat in certain places. I also was a bit more team Max than team Derek, though I have a feeling the author has a plan for Max.
