I don't read many books by Deanna Chase but this is a pretty good book. I only gave it a four stars because it was good but not great in my mind unlike some of the other books I have read. That and I don't think I liked the ending of this one that is if I am remembering the same ending or not.

Anyways this book has a whole lot of fun stuff in it. I mean who would ever think that a faery would ever have once loved, maybe still does, a vampire. Granted yes he was human when they were dating but that's besides the point. This book has a lot of fun curveballs that it throws at you when you think you have a clue on what is going on. I should know I have had to step back and rethink about it before continuing on as I go and cross off what I thought was real wasn't.

This book is really good and I am happy that my mom told me about it.

Influential Magic is a very refreshing paranormal urban fantasy story! There are both fairies and vampires, but they are not exactly the same as they are in other stories.
