I love to read books from different authors and I had not read anything from D.C. Akers before and was eager to read Haven: A Stranger Magic. I knew it would be my kind of book straight away due to the magic element. It grabbed me from the start and I found myself lost in the book and not wanting to put it down. I needed to know who the stranger was outside Sam’s window. The whole book was full of mystery and intrigue.

I liked both Sarah and Sam, it was great getting to know them. Obviously I do not want to give away too much as it would be pointless me recommending it but it is a great start to a series.

Well written and I will be looking out for book 2.
