My Synopsis:
Pillow Talk the story in this novella by Maya Banks stars Zoe our heroine and three hot heroes Chase, Brody and Tate. The four of them have been friends for a long time and currently live in one house. Zoe and Chase are in a relationship. Zoe and Chase enjoy an adventurous sex life and one night during one of their steamy nights they reveal some of their deeper and kinkier sexual fantasies. Zoe decides to fulfill one of Chase's fantasy and gets help from Brody and Tate in setting up this fantasy. Let's just say it involves Zoe stripping and an audience of Chase's fellow fire fighters. Chase absolutely loved Zoe fulfilling his fantasy and decides to return the favor. Chase also enlists Brody and Tate's help. Zoe's fantasy involves being captured and forced to pleasure several men. This is where the story starts to pick up because Chase enlist Brody and Tate to be the other men sexing Zoe. After this the relationship between the four friends take a turn. Zoe starts to develop feelings for Brody and Tate. The three continue to ummmm....share Zoe. Other fantasies are fulfilled and things become a bit complicated. Can Zoe go back to being just with Chase or could the four of them make it work?
My Thoughts:
I was very excited when I saw this novella being pimped on Maya's "Coming Soon" page back in September. Some minor characters from one of her earlier books Seducing Simon make small appearances in this story. Seducing Simon was the first book that I read by Maya that started my addiction with her books. The heroes from Pillow Talk are fire fighters at the same station as the hero from Seducing Simon. She had left some secondary characters hanging from Seducing Simon that I've been wanting stories for so I was excited to see them making minor appearances in this story. Any way I digress....back to Pillow Talk. I loved this story. Can you say HOT. My god it was like Maya took a peek in my head and put into words my umm..fantasies. She made me seriously believe that being stuffed in all holes at one time seem like a rip roaring pain free experience. There are a lot of memorable sexing in this book. I really liked Zoe. She's uninhibited, drinks beer and plays sports. Even I would have wanted her..lol. As for Chase, Brody and Tate...YUMMY. I really love how understanding Chase is. He gets Zoe and indulges her. Brody is the protective one. Tate is the flirty one. Combine they make the ultimate boyfriend. The transition from friends to lovers was handled nicely. I walked away believing that these crazy kids had a chance at making things work. It was a short read but filled with a lot to keep me entertained and hooked. Be warned keep a man or toy nearby this story will get you in the mood my friends. If you want a smoking hot story with plot and likable characters than you'll love Pillow Talk.

My Synopsis:
Her Fantasy Men the other story in this novella by Shayla stars Kelsey our heroine and three heroes Rhys, Jeremy and Tucker. Rhys is the neighbor, Jeremy is the boss and Tucker is the long time friend. All of them want Kelsey. She is the ultimate girl for all three men. They each think the other is keeping Kelsey's bed warm but during a get together they each compare notes and realize that Kelsey hasn't been sharing the goods with any of them. They decide to work together to find out why Kelsey isn't with one of them. They soon discover that Kelsey wants them all but doesn't want to have to pick one. Each men meets and fulfills something for Kelsey. She doesn't want to lose any of them since she doesn't think there is anyway for her to have them all since none of the men are the sharing kind. Kelsey soon realizes that the men knows that she wants them. They each seduce and try to win Kelsey for themselves.
My Thoughts:
Shayla is a hit or miss author for me. Her story Fantasy Men fell a short for me. I didn't like Kelsey nor the men in this story. They were whiny to me and I didn't think there was any chemistry what so ever. The scenes that involved all four were a bit uncomfortable rather than hot. The set up had so much potential but once the seducing started the storyline just went loopy on me. Kelsey doesn't want to choose or start anything but she jumps in bed and without protection no less with each men individually. Since each men are not really cool with sharing Kelsey they spend the story fighting over her and Kelsey spends it being wishy washy. I hate wishy washy heroines. The ending didn't ring true and I was left feeling annoyed. Her Fantasy Men didn't work for me but it might work for you. Here is a link to another POV on this story that gave it a favorable review Coffee Time Romance.
