I received this book for free from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.I am a fan of small town family drama . I also love series that are set in small towns. While I enjoyed this book I had a hard time connecting with Caleb, I felt that I couldn’t get a handle on his character or maybe I just didn’t connect with him. I enjoyed the storyline, the romance and the drama. The ending wasn’t something I loved but since this is a series maybe we will hear more about these characters.

I would definitely read more from Emma Douglas and this series.
