Baroness Book Trove
Will Elle and Lee be safe on this road trip, and how would they like the East Coast?
Lee decided last minute that they should drive cross-country for the first time to see Noah at Harvard and then for Lee to see Rachel at Brown with her parents. Elle and Lee are so cute when they are on the road driving. There is so much I want to talk about that happened in this story, but since it's short, I don't want to spoil too much. Let's say that Elle and Lee have a great friendship that got tested on this road trip.
Road trips are tedious, especially if you don't stop to enjoy the scenery and buzz on through. Sometimes buzzing through is precisely what needs to be done to get there, but then, to get back, it's best to enjoy it most of the time. At least that's what my family does, but who knows what Elle and Lee did on their return trip.
Five Stars
Road Trip! by Beth Reekles is a great novella that focuses on spring break in their senior year when they can relax for a bit. Not getting burned out before finals is a great thing, especially when still sending out college applications for a just-in-case type of thing. Elle and Lee definitely deserved this road trip after what was happening to them in book 2. I'm just hoping that Elle and Noah can keep up with their communication depending on where Elle ends up attending college the following year.
I am giving Road Trip! by Beth Reekles five stars and a recommendation to anyone that loves to read a good young adult contemporary romance, especially if it will take you less than an hour, maybe two depending on how many interrupts you get while reading.
