[Quirky Cat]

If you've watched the anime for this series, then you've already got a really strong idea of what happens in this volume. I have to say that the anime is shockingly loyal to the series on the whole, which I absolutely adore.
It's time for the first year UA students to go off to summer camp together! Of course this isn't going to be one of those typical summer courses where they focus on strengthing relationships and teamwork. No, instead all of the students are expected to amp up their training and work harder than ever to increase their quirks.
I completely understand and agree with what the instructors are trying to do here. Class A in particular has been a target. Again and again. So in order to keep them safe, the best thing they can do is get them trained up better and faster than ever before. I'm not sure I agree with sending them off without a full set of instructors, though I get what their intent was (to reduce visibility). But it just had a bit too much potential for backfiring.
This volume had a few absolutely amazing fights in it. I won't spoil them by talking about them too much, but holy cow. There are some fights with serious rewatch/reread value here.
