I am so happy Chris and Sarah got their story. For anyone who's read Tenley and Hayden's 2 books, you know this was a couple that had you wondering if they would ever be able to get their shite together.

Chris and Sarah have had a thing for a few months by the time FRACTURES IN INK start Both of them have feelings for the other, but are both terrified to put any label on it. But when Sarah pushes Chris away, it's time to cop to the feelings and figure out how to move forward.

Both Chris and Sarah have their own demons chasing after them. Chris' has to do with his lack of self-worth thanks to his mother and step-father and Sarah's from her mother and terrified she's going to be just like her. Those demons ride Chris and Sarah hard. And it seems no matter how hard they try to get away from them, something pulls them closer. What both of them seem to forgot it they have this other person they could lean on for support. Someone to help them talk through whatever they're going through and figure out what to do next. They both need that support, but for some reason they don't feel like burdening the person they're sleeping with. It was frustrating, but at the same time you could see why they were doing it. As the story moved forward you had to hope they would figure it out and things would get better for them.

Helena Hunting is great with romantic comedy, but I'm glad she went back to this angsty series. This is what introduced to me to Helena and she picked up the angst right where we left off with Tenley and Hayden. I thoroughly loved this book, these characters and how they fought so hard to get that happily ever after. Definitely a top read for 2016.

Este libro se hizo esperar un montón, pero valió la pena. La serie Clipped Wings es la más intensa de Helena Hunting, en cuanto a drama romántico, y yo lo amo. La historia de Chris y Sarah es una curiosa porque los dos esperan que el otro termine al otro, creo que una de las cosas que más me gusta es que los tienen pasados / o inicios complicados, ninguno viene de la familia feliz o típica, recalca que no eres de dónde vienes si no que QUIÉN eres en realidad es lo que vale.
