The photographs range from UFOs over a modern city and frightened figures wrapped in mist to an elegant couple witnessing a desert explosion and their capture by extraterrestrials. Lindbergh has created images for Commes des Garcons and run advertising campaigns for such designers as Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld and Donna Karan. In addition, he has directed a music video for Tina Turner. He has been on the staff of "Harper's Bazaar" and "Vogue".
