Such a cute read! I loved the back and forth with town history, and complicated families are always interesting to read. Perfect for spooky season.

I really loved this graphic novel. I found the story really well written -the dialogue was great! I loved the quirky characters & the mom/daughter relationship. I was turning the pages super fast! The overall story was really good and I hope there will be another installment, but even if there isn’t this one stands on its own. Also — the cat!! I loved that even the secondary characters had personalities! I also really enjoyed the sarcastic humor throughout which I think works best in this genre where you have visual cues alongside the dialogue. Overall this was an entertaining read that I’d definitely recommend. Good for fans of graphic novels and maybe fans of Raina Telgemeier, too! Has strong female leads & a good story about standing up for your values & living an authentic life. Loved it!
