Aaron Wylde is the most notorious playboy in the league and now, a cup champion, he is in higher demand with the fans and puck bunnies. While on a morning run, Aaron passes a bookstore where he notices a beautiful redhead that stops him in his tracks. Clarke sees Aaron walk into her store and is not swayed by his wit and charm. Once she realizes he's famous, she does not want anything to do with him. Aaron bets her to be his date to his teammates' weddings and when he wins the bet he becomes determined he is going to make her realized he is not like every other famous male.

              

Aaron and Clarke's connection and chemistry was amazing and I loved how Clarke was welcomed into the Vengeance family by the other players and their wives. Wylde is a fun-loving, opposites attract story about the team playboy falling in love with the girl completely opposite of his normal conquest with an unexpected tear-jerking twist that will have your heart in your throat. The Arizona Vengeance are my favourite books by Sawyer Bennett, a must-read series, I can not wait for more and hope they never end.

[Romance Schmomance]

I'll have to admit that my reading has been all over the place for me and it took me a little bit longer to get into Wylde and Clark's story. But I'm also noticing that my preferences are starting to change during this crazy time that we're all in.

Wylde is book 7 in the Arizona Vengeance series and I'm starting to realize that I'm starting to judge the books a little bit more since I have so many faves from this series!

Despite Wylde having a bit of a reputation, he was a very intriguing character, plus it's hard to knock out a guy that knows his literature. I'm sure he'd be a feature favorite on Hot Guys Reading, it's a thing, go check it out!

Understanding Clarke's hang-ups about dating a someone that's famous, I love that she constantly made Wylde work for it. And boy he does it so well.

I really did enjoy their story, but it didn't hit home like I hoped it would. It's definitely a solid addition to this series.

Wylde was such a meet cute story and I just loved how Aaron and Clarke met. I especially loved that Clarke had some preconceptions about Aaron, and he totally got her because of that.
Instead of a more usual way to a woman's heart, Aaron decided to bring Clarke as his date to two of his friends' weddings. And it was fun. It was cute. It was also a great way for them to get to know each other without being too close for comfort.
