I adore this book. I like the easy going, fun way it's written. I like all the characters, including the bad guys. I love Tansy and her morals and adore Hudson. Some of the turns are completely unexpected and seem out of place in a young adult novel but totally work. One of the things I like about [a:Janette Rallison|184987|Janette Rallison|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1408003574p2/184987.jpg] is that her characters make horrible decisions. And of course really I hate that, but she doesn't give me a reason to hate it. She lets her characters grow beyond their bad choices and lets her heroines be smarter than their bad choices and so I don't hate them the way I should.

I love that this is a book that made me laugh and also grin foolishly and it's exciting at times and oddly profound at others. Mostly it's an awful lot of fun to read.

I loved this second book even better than the first. The humor is great and the over all story keeps moving and entertains. I read My Unfair Godmother in one day. The story has great characters that you like from the start. I hope that there is another one to come in the series!
