"The Eagle has Landed" revolves around a wartime plot to kidnap or assassinate Winston Churchill. German soldiers are parachuted into Norfolk and are aided by a local woman and an IRA gunman. In "The Eagle has Flown", following the failed attempt to assassinate Winston Churchill, Major Kurt Steiner is held in the Tower of London. Liam Devlin is called to rescue him.
