I won this from the First Reads giveaway.

Each chapter begins and ends with Sara talking to her therapist, which is something I've never encountered before, but I thought it worked really well. Although the story is told in first person, having these snippets gives a bit more insight to how Sara was actually feeling after the events that take place.

She decided to search for her birth mother, who she finds, but wants nothing to do with her. Sara then learns that her mother was a victim of the Campsite Killer, who is her real father. Soon she starts receiving calls from her father who wants to begin a relationship with her, or else he'll strike again. It was hard to put this book down! The more we learn about Sara's father, the more I got intrigued by him, just like she did. I was on the edge of my seat wondering when/if they were going to finally catch him. This is very well written and just the right pace to keep it suspenseful without being overwhelming.
