When fighting erupts between government forces and renegade Ghost Soldiers in the Republic of Dhambizao, thousands are forced to flee. Dr. Paige Ryan, working with Volunteers of Hope, leads a team to set up a refugee transit site where the needs for shelter, water, sanitation, and food are critical. Then a group of American mountain climbers is attacked. When they are rescued by Paige's team, one of the survivors brings an infectious disease into the camp.
