Sadie is hiding at college. Hiding from her parents and the tragic events that changed their family forever and what she did to try to alleviate the pain. When she meets Brady Carsen at a bar one night, she discovers the guy who's not her type might just be the one to change her life.
I enjoyed how certain Brady was of he felt for Sadie and pursued her, despite what she may have said or done. He made Sadie realize she was worth loving and fighting for...something she didn't believe. Brady didn't have an easy life either. With both his parents out of the picture, he was living a life with constant reminders of what he used to have. With the help of Sadie and his sister, he learned to let go of the hurt.
This was a very "cute" read. I don't know if I should say "cute" when referring to Brady and Sadie, since they both have less than idyllic lives, but their romance had it sweet and hot moments, sprinkled with a bit of heavy that just made it irresistible and enjoyable.
